Joining RAD is a simple way to show your support for rural communities across Derbyshire. Whether you’ve worked with us before or are new to RAD, becoming a member connects you to our mission and helps strengthen our shared voice.

Membership is completely FREE for both individuals and organisations.

What RAD Membership Gives You

Your Rights as a RAD Member

RAD Members can:

  • Attend, speak and vote at the AGM
  • Propose and second motions
  • Nominate and appoint a proxy
  • Stand for the RAD Trustee Board
  • Nominate others for election

Your Responsibilities

Members are expected to:

  • Attend the AGM
  • Take part in feedback requests to help improve our work
  • Follow RAD rules when attending meetings and events

Important: RAD Membership vs Project Memberships

RAD Membership does not automatically enrol you in any of our project‑specific schemes or networks.

If you wish to join programmes such as:

  • the heating oil service
  • the Feeding Derbyshire Network
  • the Village Hall & Community Building Affiliation Scheme

you must apply directly through the links on the Become A Member page.
