What Village Halls & Community Buildings Advisory Service membership gives you
If you have joined our Village Halls & Community Buildings Affiliation Scheme then you should be able to see all of the relevant tiles below. If your hall has joined, but you cannot see all of the tiles below (there are about 13), please contact Rona Rawson who will be able to get you access.
For non-affiliates you can still access RAD training and events, ACRE information sheets (including some model documents) and E-bulletin updates.
RAD is also delighted to be able to offer affiliate and non-affiliates in Derbyshire an energy provider to help you find the best possible energy deals available.
If your hall has not yet signed up to the scheme, you will not have access to exclusive content. To join, simply click on the green button below. It is only £50 pa (less than £1 per week). You don’t need to make payment when you sign up. We will issue an invoice.
RAD’s Advisory service has operated since 1924 and the information and wealth of knowledge has been found invaluable by many people involved with Derbyshire Village Halls and Community Buildings management committees.
With over 250 halls underpinning rural community life in Derbyshire, we have a wide variety of heritage in our community halls which range from Village Halls, Church Halls, and Club Houses to former Miners’ Welfare Institutes, Town Halls and Community Centres and everything in between.
We estimate there are around 2,500 voluntary trustees with a responsibility for managing community halls across Derbyshire, who will at some point require a level of specialist support.
